Luxe Links Michigan is a Metro-Detroit based brand that creates Female -owned vendor pop-ups for local businesses as well as a charm bar that creates custom links. Recently, they have created a subbrand for their vendor markets called @Sundaysareforthegirlies and have ventured into football-themed markets for the Detroit Lions. I helped create a look and feel for the creative at the event and to promote the event. As well as social content ideation.

SUNDAYS ARE FOR THE LIONS EVENT
SOCIAL CREATIVE DIRECTION







Sundays are for the Girlies is an instagram page ran by Luxe Links Michigan (Female Markets and Pop-ups), in 2024 they ventured into football-themed markets starting in their hometown of Detroit to cheer on the Detroit Lions. They created an event called "Sundays are for the Lions" and asked me to help create graphics and social promo concepts to help
promote the event. I created custom signage, social posts and event stickers that were used on slushee cups and more at the event.

For the announcement post, the client gave me a list of 20+ female vendors that would be at the event selling Lions themed merch as well as a DJ, tattoo artist and more. Alongside the vendor list, I needed to include a lot of information about the event itself. I used the theme of polaroid moments that were captured from the previous year's event to create little moments to drive FOMO (fear of missing out) amongst followers to drive them to purchase tickets! On the slides to follow, I continued using polaroids to tease select vendors that would be offering services such as Lions drinks, tattoos, live music and more! This event was picked up by several influencers, Fox 2 Detroit and more. It ended up being the brands most successful event yet!

For this post, I wanted to position this through the lens of "This & my bestie" which is a viral social trend where users showcase their best friend alongside a specific activity that they would enjoy together. This felt very natural to the brand Sundays are for the Girlies, as a way to talk straight to followers in a social-first way to drive people to buy tickets with their besties as a fun girlies day out inspo. idea as well as romanticize the fun of the upcoming event.

For this event, it was one that had not been done before so we shot the teaser post in a way that didn't require previous videography from a lions market event as well as strategically photoshopped imagery from the lions markets to help viewers envision what the Las Vegas Raiders market may look like when they get there. I designed several sticker options that took inspo. from the Raiders, nodding to their iconic colors and shield as well as choosing emojis and iconography that bring in the football team spirit.
