AdCraft Detroit - Rebrand

Established on December 7, 1905, AdCraft Detroit is America's oldest & largest non-profit advertising organization in the country. In 2025, I was elected as one of six new Young Professionals in the city of Detroit to join the board. As a part of this role, I was tasked with
rebranding the iconic AdCraft branding to better reflect its future, while honoring its legacy. The goal was to modernize the brand without losing the equity and recognition built over more than a century. I refined the existing logo slightly, to feel more bold & confident, while staying true to its well-established Detroit roots. From there, I developed a new visual system, including a refreshed color palette (the original branding only utilized black) so the new indigo tones are a soft nod to that while introducing vibrant colors to bring energy. I also created a typography suite, and a social-first approach for the brand. The result is a cohesive visual system that balances professionalism with energy, positioning AdCraft as a forward thinking advertising network designed to attract and engage the next wave of members as the orgination continues to grow.

For social, I developed creative guidelines for the team to follow for creative best practices across event graphics, photography, and reels . These are designed to resonate with prospective members and drive engagement. Content spans event highlights, professional development opportunities and key initiatives, all crafted to feel social-first while introducing Adcrafts brand to new audiences online, in a polished yet energetic way.

Once the brand identity was established,  I led the rollout across all touchpoints - from merch and Zoom backgrounds to email campaigns and on-site signage. I also directed a team of junior and mid-level designers, ensuring every execution felt cohesive, intentional, and true to the refreshed brand system.
